Just thinking on the restoration of the tabernacle of David. At the time, I bet David was a lil bummed when God told him not to build a temple for the ark. But fast forward years and years later, the order of worship that was established in that period of time still continues to connect people to the presence thousands of years later on a global scale.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not...

Ahhh. What a week. Sittin here now at Jon Sibugs after a long week, kinda tired, not looking forward to tomorrow but that’s the way it goes. This week I’ll be workin 6 days, hopefully somewhere around 52-55 hours, even though it’s hard labor I like the extra dough and for this season I’ll work what I got too. I do look forward to the days when I’m in a field that I...

Yesterday we were at Doug Woodard’s (previous owner of Fairfield Chevy) for the Gen.Life leaders appreciation night, man his house was sick. It was like an oasis in the middle of the desert. It was sick to see such a seasoned man of God like Doug who was/is in the business world. It’s like Christians are undercover agents in the world, advancing the cause of their organization.

Today I’m reminded of how much I can miss the big picture, how I can focus on one tree instead of seeing the entire forest, how important it is to keep perspective that it’s not really all about me. My decisions have ramifications that I really don’t always see. One thing I do can effect someone elses eternity, productivity, profitability. I guess hind sight is always 20/20.

So i did not get the job at Solano Computer Guys. A lil bummed, but you know at the end of the day “those who hope in the Lord will not be put to shame.” I’ll bank on that right there. I’m not motivated by fear or any other emotion in this season. My hope, my faith is in God. He is for us, He won’t give me a stone if i ask for bread. Jehovah Jirah, my provider. ...

A bit of a frustrating week to say the least. Since last week I have not had a “normal” day of work. Everday has pretty much been 9-10 hour days leaving me completely exhausted, which means waking up in the morning has been a nightmare. So today I was 8 minutes late to work, clocked in, and immediately sent home. I understand that i am ultimately in the wrong, but come on, the other...

It’s funny to see the different people in different seasons who play key and pivotol roles in your life. Year by year they seem to change, people move away, and in. The young adult crowd looks so much different from one year ago. I’m curious to see who’s here in another year. At one point we were a tiny remnant of 20s who just longed to see God move, lthough we did not get the...

Faith
I often times look at the future and the call that God has for my life and I can’t help but feel a lil overwhelmed. I see great men and women of God around that are such great communicators, they flow so well, and have it all together. Then there is me……haha.
I have the propensity to forget that God does great things with people who submit what they have to Him. Take for...
Go People
Go People huh. I am beginning to feel this stir within as we go through this new series. I so want to see the multitudes come to a saving knowledge of Christ, and be a part of the revival that happens here in Vaca. This is the time, this is the place. What an awesome responsibility and oppurtunity we have. When the bible talks about such a time as this, we get to live that out in March 2009. ...
