Just thinking on the restoration of the tabernacle of David. At the time, I bet David was a lil bummed when God told him not to build a temple for the ark. But fast forward years and years later, the order of worship that was established in that period of time still continues to connect people to the presence thousands of years later on a global scale.

Yesterday we were at Doug Woodard’s (previous owner of Fairfield Chevy) for the Gen.Life leaders appreciation night, man his house was sick. It was like an oasis in the middle of the desert. It was sick to see such a seasoned man of God like Doug who was/is in the business world. It’s like Christians are undercover agents in the world, advancing the cause of their organization.

Today I’m reminded of how much I can miss the big picture, how I can focus on one tree instead of seeing the entire forest, how important it is to keep perspective that it’s not really all about me. My decisions have ramifications that I really don’t always see. One thing I do can effect someone elses eternity, productivity, profitability. I guess hind sight is always 20/20.

A bit of a frustrating week to say the least. Since last week I have not had a “normal” day of work. Everday has pretty much been 9-10 hour days leaving me completely exhausted, which means waking up in the morning has been a nightmare. Go People huh. I am beginning to feel this stir within as we go through this new series. I so want to see the multitudes come to a saving knowledge of Christ, and be a part of the revival that happens here in Vaca. This is the time, this is the place.
