Faith
I often times look at the future and the call that God has for my life and I can’t help but feel a lil overwhelmed. I see great men and women of God around that are such great communicators, they flow so well, and have it all together. Then there is me……haha.
I have the propensity to forget that God does great things with people who submit what they have to Him. Take for instance the boy that had a few loves of bread and a couple fish, they were brought to Jesus and boom. A miracle happened, possibly 20,000 men and women were fed, not only did they eat, they had their fill. Come on, does that not give you some faith right there. God uses the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. Anyone would look at that situation and know that a little bit of bread and a little bit of fish would not feed 50 people let alone 20,000. When i read my bible i come to know that my God is a God of more than enough. My God makes the sun stand still. He makes people rise from the dead. He heals cancer. He is the provider. He takes the lives of outkasts and makes them kings. He took 12 average men and used them to change the world. When i think of all the things that God has done it gives me hope that the thing that He has called me to do, he will accomplish no matter how big the task.
Here is the key. A life fully submitted. Every gift, every skill, submitted to God. At the foot of the cross telling God that they are His.
